My name is Nikolai Jacimovic.
I am a trained sommelier with many years of experience in the wine industry. Throughout my career, I
have learned to appreciate wine not only for what is in the glass, but for everything that shapes it—its
soil, climate, grape varieties, and, above all, the people who dedicate their lives to producing it.
Photography has become a natural extension of that passion. While wine tells a story through taste, I
aim to tell it through images. My work focuses on creating authentic visual narratives that capture the
identity of a winery—not through staged marketing photographs, but through honest documentary
storytelling about people, landscapes, craftsmanship, and terroir.

My kit is minimalistic, designed for agility and reliability in harsh conditions. I trust a weather-sealed body to get the job done without getting in the way of the moment. It’s not about the gear; it's about the vision. But the right tools make that vision possible.
